ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an incredible opportunity for you to join a team whose primary mission is to help keep people safe, and its purpose is to improve people's lives through education. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering a variety of nationally accredited courses, including training and assessing under the National Assessment Instrument for WP and LF.
With the support of the administration team, you will be required to monitor and support students and assist them in achieving desired learning outcomes. Courses including one or both of the below High-risk courses
- Boom-type elevating work platform (over 11 meters)
- Forklift truck
Desirable but not essential would also be your ability to deliver other courses such as:
- Elevating Work Platform (under 11 meters including Scissor Lift).
- Work Safely at Heights
- Confined Space Entry
- Gas Testing
- First aid
This position is based at our Murarrie and Arundel Facilities and we have Full-time and Casual positions available.
ABOUT YOU
You are a talented, positive and passionate trainer who enjoys training and engaging with a broad group of people. Some of your qualifications and other talents include:
- Accreditation with WorkSafe Qld as an Assessor of High-Risk Work Licences (WP and LF);
- A current Driver’s Licence, own transport and HRWL with classes WP and LF;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116);
- Current units of competency within the applicable training topics;
- Demonstrated experience in delivering industrial safety training;
- Exceptional and adaptable facilitation skills to create an inclusive learning environment.
