Trainer and Assessors required for Leadership & Management Courses
Insight Institute of Further Studies Pty Ltd is currently in the process of applying for VET and CRICOS registration.
The Institute aims to provide the following courses to domestic and international students.
- BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
- BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
We are looking for dedicated and passionate trainers & assessors for these qualifications
Full time, part time, casual and weekend positions are available.
Essential Criteria
Training qualification:
- Must have TAE40110/ TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
Vocation qualification:
- Must have vocational competency at least to the level delivering training and assessment including:
- BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management
- BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
Industry currency and experience
- Current industry skills maintained through direct industry work or professional development in the industry.
Professional development
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.
Desirable
- Prior experience in workplace training or training in vocational sector.
- Experience in handling administrative work related to training and assessment
- Prior experience of contextualization of assessment tools and training materials
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of VET legislation including national code 2018 and standards for RTOs 2015.
Role and Responsibilities
As a Trainer/Assessor, you will be responsible to develop, prepare, deliver, assess and evaluate qualifications whilst ensuring that contractual and compliance requirements for the delivery of programs are met in accordance with Standards for RTOs 2015 and training package requirements.
You will also identify, collate and compile a range of resources and materials to complement the delivery of the course at highest standard.
- In conjunction with Training manager, assist in curriculum development, resource and assessment maintenance and the day-to-day delivery of the practical and theoretical modules offered through the Institute;
- Assist in establishment, implementation and maintenance of evaluation and assessment systems, ensuring that they meet occupational skill standards and the requirements of the training package;
- Build authentic, engaging relationships with student cohorts.
- Record and report on student assessment outcomes.
- Mark assessments and provide constructive and timely feedback to our students
- Respond to student queries and engage students with course content
- Continuously improve and contextualise learning materials
- Ensure timely and accurate records of course progress and completion of assessments
- Record and monitor student’s attendance and provide data to admin team on weekly/fortnight basis.
- Liaise with students regularly and check if students are in need of support and provide support,
- Assist with the on-going development and maintenance of the standardisation of the assessment process.
