Role Overview:
We are seeking a couple of dynamic and results-driven Trainer and Assessors to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for supporting our students in both of our Hospitality and Commercial Cookery programs throughout Queensland. If you are a proactive self-starter with a passion for education and a knack for training, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will:
- Have a desire to achieve excellence in overall student completion rates
- Frequently travel to venues, locally and throughout Queensland and potentially interstate
- Be part of a positive, friendly, and supportive team
- Maintain professional development for Industry currency
- Work within compliance guidelines
Required skills & experience for Hospitality Trainer:
- Formal qualifications in Hospitality (preferably to Diploma level)
- A minimum 3 years’ current Hospitality vocational experience
- Queensland regulatory qualifications including RSA, RSG and RMLV certification
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122)
- Current driver’s licence
Required skills & experience for Commercial Cookery Trainer:
- Formal qualifications in Commercial Cookery (minimum Certificate III)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 / TAE40122)
- Relevant currency and Industry experience
- Current driver’s licence
Desired but not essential – highly desirable;
- The ability to deliver First Aid (HLTAID011, HLTAID010, HLTAID009)
- Working knowledge of a gaming room
- Formal qualifications in Business
