About The Client
Our client is Australia's largest coal producers, who operate opencut and underground coal mines. Our Client is a responsible miner of coal with a track record of excellence in supplying high quality coal.
About the role
WorkPac are currently seeking experienced Trainer Assessors to commence on an open cut coal mine in the Bowen Basin area for an immediate start. Successful applicants will be training operators across pre strip and coal departments. WorkPac are seeking motivated trainerswho thrive onseeing new to industry operators grow within the industry. We are looking for someone who can utilize their knowledge and experience and relay this through to all new employees and help them see what mining has to offer. In this role you will be doing more practical than theory.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitation of inductions for new workers
- Practical training on operational and maintenance equipment
- Upskilling workers on site
- Ensuring workers meet requirements for verifications of competency on site
- Challenge testing operators against competency standards
Skills required
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Experience on BMA sites preferred
- Coal Board Medical
- Standard 11
- Drivers Licence
- Trainer Assessor Competencies and
- TAE RII - Loader, Grader, Dozer, Dump Truck & Excavator
