About the role

We are seeking a values-driven and proactive Youth Support Facilitator for the Tools For The Trade program. The successful applicant will provide direct support and mentorship to at-risk youth in the communities of Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula.

This role empowers young people who face the risk of long-term unemployment due to early school leaving or educational disengagement. As a facilitator, you will engage participants in dynamic educational, training, and employment opportunities tailored to their unique needs.

You'll inspire and assist them in securing traineeships, apprenticeships, or meaningful employment, while also nurturing their life and social engagement skills. The goal is to foster personal growth, enhance life skills, and pave the way for positive, sustainable future pathways for each young participant.

  • Identify risks to clients, staff, and the organization and report these to management as soon as possible.
