We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Trainer and Assessor to join our Tier 1 client's project, working 12 hours per day on an 8:6 roster for a period of 3-6 month. Site-based mining experience within Production Processing, Fixed Plant Maintenance or Mobile Equipment Maintenance is essential
Role Description:
- Ensuring that the assessment activity complies with the principles of assessment (validity, fairness, reliability, flexibility, authenticity, currency)
- Training and refreshing qualifications on various equipment
- Further Development of personnel
- Creating plans and delivering site training objectives
- Developing retraining plans for those who do not achieve the required result during the assessment activity
- Perform training activities and assessments for operators as required
To be successful you’ll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Cert IV qualification in Training and Assessing - TAE40116 or TAE40122 minimum
- Current manual C Class drivers’ license - essential
- High risk qualifications - HRWL/LF/EWP/DG/RB
- Strong background in Production Processing & Mobile Equipment Maintenance
- Current HR Drivers Licence
- Working knowledge of Learning Management principles
- BHP inductions & exposure to BHP Operating System (BOS) - advantageous
