About the job:
Reporting to the Training Manager, you will be using your passion for your field of expertise, your knowledge and your skills to train the next generation of high-quality workers.
The workplace location for this position is flexible, applicants in Launceston, Devonport and Hobart regions are encouraged to apply.
- Supporting and mentoring workplace learners
- Providing engaging training to a mixed cohort of learners
- Completing training and assessment documentation according to organisational policies and procedures
- Record keeping and maintaining learner paperwork in line with compliance regulations
- Participating in validation and moderation activities

- TAE40116/TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability and willingness to obtain
- Relevant qualifications, experience and credibility within the Community Services sector
- Experience working with individuals who may be disengaged from study or employment
- The initiative, attitude and ability to thrive within a dynamic, challenging and changing environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and life experience
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to learn new software applications required to perform the role
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- A demonstrated ability, commitment and attitude to effective communication and liaison with both internal and external stakeholders
