Hydrogen Production to join the exciting and energetic Fortescue Hydrogen Systems (FHS) team. FHS is leading Fortescue's development portfolio of hydrogen products centred on the production of renewable hydrogen.FHS has made the Final Investment Decision to build PEM50, a 50MW green hydrogen facility in Gladstone, Queensland, utilising Fortescue's own electrolyser technology. PEM50 is both a standalone plant, and a product that can be replicated for large scale hydrogen facilities.Reporting to the Manager - Readiness, the Trainer and Assessor -
Hydrogen Production is responsible for working with Fortescue Learning and Development functions to assess operations training needs and develop and deliver training content to operations personnel for the PEM50 green hydrogen plant.Following the completion of the project, the Trainer and Assessor -
Hydrogen Production will continue as an ongoing role in support of PEM50 as an asset and product, and its deployment to customers, by curating, improving and delivering operations training content
Key Responsibilities- Development and delivery of operations training content.
- Delivery of Fortescue Specific Training and Assessments including Verification of Competency Assessments.
- Facilitation of classroom-based training.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision.
- Well organised and excellent time management skills with strong attention to details skills.
- Hands on approach to teamwork, positive attitude and superior customer service skills are essential.
- Collaboration with the team to improve training content and delivery methods.
Qualifications and Experience- Relevant tertiary technical qualifications or relevant industry experience.
- Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment is preferred.
- 7+ years' experience in oil/gas/chemical industry environment or similar in a plant operations role.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of oil/gas/chemical (or similar) plant practices and technical systems with the ability to train content in a professional manner.
