About the role:
Due to an increased growth and demand in the Rockhampton region, we now have a Casual position for a 50 hour work assignment.
Training will occur at the client’s work location.
There is potential for further work and to become our trainer on the ground in this particular region. You’ll be joining a supportive and hard-working team.
We are seeking qualified and experience trainers to deliver and assess the following qualifications:
Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. Specifically the following units:
TLIL2008 - Complete Routine Administrative Tasks
TLID0020 - Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
TLIF0009 - Ensure the safety of transport activities (chain of responsibility)
The ability to deliver high quality, compliant and engaging sessions is vital, while ensuring appropriate assessment systems are in place that allow each student to attain the relevant units of competency.
About you:
As someone who is passionate about their own learning and development, you love helping others learn and giving back to the community.
You are a clear communicator with experience working or interacting with people from disadvantaged backgrounds with low levels of education and learning.
You also don’t mind driving to worksites in Rockhampton to ensure our courses are delivered when and where they’re required.
About your qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment -TAE40116 Including the units being delivered (or willing to obtain them, or equivalent industry experience and currency)
- Industry experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering accredited vocational training
- Ability to engage all learner types and levels
- Ability to work unsupervised and good time management skills
- Ability to captivate, retain, and provide engaging training
- Ability to build supportive relationships with students
- Moderate computer literacy including MS Office suite
- Current Driving Licence
- National Police Check
