About the role:

The Fixed Plant Maintenance team is currently seeking a Trainer Assessor Maintenance to join them on a 7/7 Days Only Roster based at Roy Hill Mine.

Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment programs to our maintenance personnel. Your expertise and guidance will play a crucial role in developing the skills and knowledge of our team members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively and safely.

Duties:

• Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance personnel, covering a range of technical skills and knowledge areas
• Conduct assessments to evaluate the competency and proficiency of individuals in maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training programs align with industry standards and best practices
• Continuously review and update training materials and resources to ensure they remain current and relevant
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed to optimise learning outcomes
• Maintain accurate records of training activities, assessments, and individual progress

Skills and Experience:

• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience in maintenance
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in delivering training and conducting assessments in a maintenance environment
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices, procedures, and safety regulations
