About the Role:
As a Trainer Assessor, you will work collectively with the Protech onsite Account Manager, Mackay Simulator Trainer and our client’s onsite team to ensure the successful mobilisation, ongoing training and success of our New to Industry Operators.
This position will see you take on key responsibilities, such as the following:
- Supporting our clients operational teams with onboarding requirements of new starters;
- Conduct machinery training and assessments in line with client and industry standards;
- Identify training needs of each employee and coaching them in best practice;
- Supporting RTO / GTO functions;
- Opportunity for simulator exposure also available in Mackay.

Desired Skills and Experience:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Prior coal industry experience operating a variety of machinery - Haul Trucks, and Dozers, Graders or Excavators;
- Prior Trainer Assessor experience;
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment;
- Current Drivers Licence;
- Ability to successfully complete Health Assessment (Coal Board Medical), Pre-Employment Medical and D&A Screen.
