We are a Tasmanian based, innovative and highly respected, Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
We have been successfully operating in the VET industry for 30 years, and during that time, we have supported ~20,000 Learners to achieve skill sets & qualifications.
We specialise in nationally recognised, workplace based, training and assessment, across a range of training packages including Transport & Logistics.
We are the recent winners of the 2023 Large Training Provider of the Year (Tasmania).
The Position
We are excited to offer the following position:
- Learning Consultant - Transport & Logistics
- Part-time
Location
- Based in Riverside, Tasmania
- State-wide delivery
Key duties
- Delivering Certificate II & III in Supply Chain Operations
- Delivering & facilitating personalised learning journeys
- Workplace based i.e. delivered at the Learner's workplace
- One-on-one training & assessment
- Competency based training & assessment
- Mentoring & coaching
- Developing strong relationships with Learners & their Employers, and ensuring positive outcomes for all stakeholders
- Case load administration, including accurate completion of all training & assessment records
- Maintaining professionalism, quality & compliance at all times

Selection Criteria
Essential
- Current vocational competencies and experience related to qualifications being delivered i.e. work experience, relevant qualifications, or a combination of both
- Passion for learning, education, training & assessment
- Ability to deliver & facilitate personalised learning journeys
- Ability to manage a case load of Learners & Employers
- Ability to motivate Learners and ensure their progress
- Strong customer service, communication & interpersonal skills

- Ability to work autonomously and within a state-wide team
- Digital solutions skills i.e. Outlook, word, learning applications (inhouse support available)

- Ability to consistently apply LPs quality management systems
Mandatory
- Industry experience
- Current TAE Assessor Skill Set, or Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, or willingness to attain
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Working with Vulnerable People Card
- National Police Check
