SO4 are striving toward the production of high-grade Sulphate of Potash (SOP). Our Lake Way asset is located in the Goldfields region of Western Australia,15 kilometres south of Wiluna. We are about to enter a critical 3-phase process: Restart, the sale of the first commercial product, Nameplate, and Production.
SO4 is a fast-growing Perth based mining company developing its clean, green and sustainable Lake Way Project. SO4 is a Brownelds site, carrying out modications to improve the economics of the project.
THE ROLE
The purpose of the Trainer Assessor position is to coordinate, train, deliver and assess internal training and site-specific inductions to meet business and operational needs.
You will be responsible for:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver training sessions, ensuring content is engaging, relevant.
- Enhancing the skills and proficiency of operators and technicians.
- Hands-on training, practical exercises, and simulations to improve capabilities in areas such as fixed plant, mobile plant and WHS.
- Scheduling and performing assessments to the required standards.
- Conduct fair and accurate Verification of Competency assessments and knowledge through a range of assessment methods, both practical and theoretical, in line with industry standards and requirements.
- Providing guidance, training, mentorship, and support site personnel working in field and plant locations.
- Working collaboratively and flexibly with operations, plant, and maintenance teams to deliver required training whilst minimising disruption to daily activities.
ABOUT YOU
We are seeking a candidate with a friendly and professional disposition, who has well-developed influencing, communication, and consultation skills. You will have a capacity to handle complex situations and make decisions under pressure. You will foster close working relationships with employees and contractors.
With your focus on and being committed to promoting safety awareness, the successful candidate will have:
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Current “C” Class Western Australian driver’s license.
- Advanced computer literacy and business software knowledge of INX InTuition systems and software
- Intermediate/proficient in Office 365 applications
- Experience using Pronto
- Working knowledge using Aconex
- Prior experience using Moodle
