Trainer Assessor
FIREtrain is a Registered Training Organisation and provides specialised competency based training in workplace emergency response.
You would be required to deliver Accredited (Nationally Recognised Training) and non-Accredited training and assessment in the fire and safety field. Experience in the fire industry or as a Volunteer Firefighter and have knowledge of procedures and equipment is preferrable.
TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent is preferrable or be willing to obtain if successful.
Must hold a current Driver’s Licence.
Hold a current Working with Children Check, Blue Card and Police Check or able to obtain if successful.
Be computer literate with knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
Friendly and engaging personality.
You would be responsible for delivering training courses to a range of industries and clients including commercial, energy, manufacturing, mining, construction and healthcare. Have availability to conduct training in regional locations on occasion and ability to work outside normal business hours, if required. Be self-motivated with the ability to deal with students from varying cultures and backgrounds with empathy and understanding. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
