The Positions
Opportunities exist for experienced Trainers and Assessors for:
- RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design
- CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services
- BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (learning)
- CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction
Trainer/Assessor Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design:
Must have:
- RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design or equivalent or higher
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education; and
- Minimum of 2 years of current work experience directly related to the following units of competency:
- BSBPMG632 Manage program risk
- BSBTWK502 Manage team effectiveness
- BSBWHS616 Apply safe design principles to control WHS risks
- BSBPMG530 Manage project scope
- BSBPMG537 Manage project procurement
- BSBSTR601 Manage innovation and continuous improvement; and
- Minimum of 3 years of current work experience directly related to the following units of competency, after competency has been achieved:
- RIICWD601E Manage civil works design processes
- RIIQUA601E Establish and maintain a quality system
- RIICWM601E Establish civil construction plans
- RIICWD533E Prepare detailed design of civil concrete structures
- RIICWD534E Prepare detailed design of civil steel structures; and
- Minimum of 5 years of current work experience directly related to the following units of competency, after competency has been achieved:
- RIICWD507D Prepare detailed geotechnical design; and
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning
Trainer/Assessor Diploma of Community Services
Must have:
- CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services or equivalent or higher
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education; and
- 2+ years full-time relevant industry experience
- 2 years of experience working in a counselling role and hold a qualification in counselling or related field that involves counselling, at Diploma level or higher (or equivalent qualification);
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs their training and assessment
- Evidence of 20 hours continuing professional development per year
Trainer/Assessor Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning)
Must have:
- BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of management (Learning) or equivalent or higher
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education; and
- Minimum of 3 years of current work experience directly related to units of competency.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning.
Trainer/Assessor Diploma of Building and Construction
Must have:
- CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction or equivalent or higher
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAELLN411 (or its successor) or TAELLN401A, and TAEASS502 (or its successor) or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B or a diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education; and
- Minimum of 2 years of current work experience directly related to units of competency.
- Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning.
