Our privately owned, family company employs over 1900 people with operations throughout Australia.Our People of Development team (part of our national Head Office based at Eagle Farm, Brisbane) seeks a Training & Apprenticeship Coordinator to support the development and upskilling of our employees including our award-winning apprentices across Australia.
The Role:
- Support the recruitment, signup and progression of our apprentices nationally.
- Liaise with MEGT, TAFEs and G.James managers to ensure that our apprentices are on track to fulfill their learning commitments.
- Build relationships and work with TAFEs, schools and universities to promote new entrants into our industry.
- Coordinate offerings to develop and upskill of our employees - research, book and coordinate a range of compliance training courses for our workers including first aid, white cards and high risk work licenses.
- Make recommendations to the senior leaders of the business to continually improve our apprenticeship and work experience programs to be the best in the industry.
- Admin and compliance for our small internal Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
- Experience in similar role with working knowledge of higher education, apprenticeships and compliance training
- General awareness and understanding of RTO compliance requirements.
- Ability to build productive long term relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Naturally organised with well developed communication, planning and prioritisation skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft 365, Learning Management Systems (LMS) and systems required for RTO management/AVETMISS (VETtrak)
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a small dedicated team.
- Current driver's license
