Training Consultant (Instructional Design)

We are seeking a creative Training / e-Learning Consultant to design, develop and deliver effective and engaging training programs. You will be comfortable leading workshops to engage your stakeholders for SME input, and advise on best practice learning methods. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing blended learning solutions that include a mix of workshop/face-to-face session plans, facilitator guides, performance support tools, microlearning video scripts, and work on digital learning projects. 
• Leading discovery processes to match learning interventions to both learner and business needs, including in depth stakeholder consultation.
• Working with a variety of external vendors to co-create personalised learning solutions that are consistent with the existing learning architecture and aligned to the business.
• Using journey mapping, learner personas in the discover and design processes.
• Developing learning campaigns to create engaging and effective ongoing learner experience.

Skills and Experience 

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

• A collaborative and innovative approach to learning design.
• Skills in digital learning, including Articulate suite (Storyline, Rise), Camtasia (ideal, not essential) and animation would be valuable. 
• Experience in applying detailed research, deep thinking and a forward thinking approach to the development of learning experiences.
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with an appreciation for the importance of attention to detail.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a high performing team.
• Willingness to adapt and foster a continuous learning mindset.
