The Brisbane Airport Hotels Group encompasses the Pullman, Novotel and ibis Brisbane Airport Hotels, as well as the Brisbane Airport Conference Centre. We have a Rooftop Event Space, Executive Lounge, 532 guest rooms, 3 restaurants and 17 meeting spaces. Located at the Brisbane Airport precinct, we are the first accommodation and event space to be developed in this area.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. We are seeking candidates who have previous management experience within the hospitality industry and passionate about training and development.
This role will be responsible for executing training programs, supporting the training initiatives of the group and developing talent for the group.
As a Training Coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects of training & development, which includes but not limited to:
- Facilitating in-house training programs for various departments within the Hotel
- Responsible for the onboarding and training processes
- Identifying training needs to develop internal talent
- Partnering with Leaders to ensure all training deadlines are met and co-ordinate future training needs
- Reviewing and maintaining a Training Needs Matrix and conduct training needs analysis of the workforce
- Planning, maintaining and publishing a calendar of face-to-face training activities based on organisational needs
- Carry out any other related duties as directed by Director of Human Resources
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Management experience within the hospitality industry is preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including high attention to detail
- Excellent personal presentation
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment preferred but not essential
