Specialising in livestock and food production, the business is involved with a broad range of agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced Training Coordinator to join our People & Culture team. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and performance, thereby contributing significantly to the overall success of our organisation.Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior leadership to ensure training initiatives align with the strategic goals of the organisation. Develop a long-term training strategy.
- Training Needs Assessment: Identify and assess training needs across departments, updating training materials to stay relevant.
- Training Program Design and Delivery: Design comprehensive training programs, create engaging materials, and facilitate training sessions tailored to various departments.
- Budget Management: Manage the training budget, optimising resources and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Coordination and Scheduling: Oversee training schedules, market training opportunities to employees, and coordinate with external trainers as necessary.
- Evaluation and Feedback: Implement evaluation processes to assess training effectiveness and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintain up-to-date training records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Communication and Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships within and outside the organisation, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- 5+ years of experience in training, facilitation, or a relevant field.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with various training methods.
- Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
- Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent organisational skills with the capability of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
