OUR PURPOSE IS ‘TO PROTECT’WE CARE, WE WORK TOGETHER, WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE About the role: Reporting through to the Regional Manager, we are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join the Hunter Valley team on a casual basis in this challenging face-to-face training role. Key responsibilities include: Conduct emergency response training and other training on site and at the stationPresent and assess Work Health Safety and rescue related training coursesComplete audits and risk assessments to ensure RTO standards are followedBe an advocate for safety and demonstrate behaviours aligned to safetySeek to develop and support a positive, engaged, high performing culture About you:Your education, experience and skills will include:Emergency response knowledge (essential)Current TAE Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE16)Experience delivering face to face trainingMines Rescue Brigade Qualification or Emergency Response Training Experience Experience in surface or metalliferous mining operations (underground experience would be regarded)Current First Aid qualificationsIntermediate level of competence in Microsoft Office SuiteWhat we offer: Generous remuneration based on experienceCasual role in the beautiful Hunter Valley region7.5-hour days, Monday to Friday – No shift work!Reward and Recognition program to celebrate your successAccess to EAPAbout us:Coal Services is a Specialised Health and Safety Scheme that provides an integrated suite of services to help identify, assess, monitor, and control many risks inherent in the NSW coal mining industry.
