We are currently recruiting for a Training Specialist to join our Prescription Business at our Head Office in St Leonards. This is a six-month parental leave contract position.
Reporting to the Head of Prescription Business, you will be responsible for developing and facilitating medical training programs for our internal Sales Representatives across a wide range of products – insomnia, skin cancer treatment, eyecare, women’s health, cardiology, anaesthetics, and more. Your success will be your ability to translate technical terminology into simple, effective information that our Sales Representatives can use with their customers.
This is truly a unique opportunity for someone who has a background in pharmacy and a passion for training, to develop their experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing, updating and facilitating training programmes on the product portfolio from a technical stand point to educate our Sales Representatives
- Working closely with our Brand Managers to ensure all claims and statements approved are current, accurate and substantiated
- Regularly updating our online training portal to ensure information regarding our products is current and accurate
- Liaising with internal teams to keep abreast of training priorities
- Contributing to new business development initiatives as required
About you:
- Tertiary qualified in pharmacy and ideally gained at least 2+ years’ experience within the Pharmaceutical industry
- Strong working knowledge of the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct
- Confident communication skills to be able to engage and present to large groups
- High level of motivation to work autonomously and also be a team player to deliver exceptional results
- Excellent attention to detail and sound time management skills with the ability to be flexible and meet conflicting deadlines.
