About the Role:
Predominately based at our Lardner depot, with potential for shifts at other locations, you will be crucial to the success of our Transfer Station sites.
Some of your responsibilities will include;
- Directing and assisting Customers on site
- Yard Maintenance and sorting of materials
- Operation and maintenance of onsite Backhoe
- Inspecting and assessing incoming loads
- Processing transactions through our waste transaction software and taking relevant EFTPOS/ voucher payments
- Maintaining a safe environment
Shift hours are 9.45am to 4.15pm Saturday and/or Sunday, with the potential for additional shifts (site operates 7 days a week).
To hit the ground running you will need:
- Genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Friendly and approachable nature
- Basic computer skills
- Flexibility to work weekend and weekday shifts
- Front End Loader / Backhoe experience preferred but training can be provided
- Forklift experience highly regarded but not essential.
