The Role
We are seeking a multi-skilled Transfer Station Worker to join our Resource Recovery and Education Unit. You will assist in providing safe, efficient and effective operation of our landfill and Transfer Stations based at Eaglehawk, Heathcote, Strathfieldsaye Goornong.
This position includes a range of duties across all operations of the Landfill / Transfer Stations and interaction with customers on a daily basis.
A current drivers and forklift licence and a satisfactory police records check are required for this position.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have good customer service and communication skills, excellent knowledge and understanding of resource recovery with a passion for diversion from landfill and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.
You will work across all 4 Transfer Station/landfill locations. This position is 38 hours a week - Monday to Friday starting at 7:30am till 4:00pm.
