As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced Company Transport Manager to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the acquisition, upkeep, and operational readiness of our transport fleet, including vehicles, related equipment, and fuel supplies.
- Engage directly with clients to assess their needs, providing expert recommendations on vehicle options, purchase or hire conditions, and rate details while addressing any client concerns with professionalism.
- Manage orders and reservations efficiently, developing transportation schedules to ensure seamless operations.
- Oversee the quality preservation of goods during storage and transit, ensuring that all handling meets the highest standards.
- Facilitate the timely collection and distribution of vehicles and goods, maintaining a smooth flow of operations.
- Keep meticulous business records and generate operational statements and reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage the logistical aspects of vehicle movements, including the coordination of loading and unloading activities.
- Uphold strict adherence to occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Required education: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma, or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Proven ability to manage transportation and logistics within the automotive industry.
Salary:
- An attractive remuneration package of $70,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
