Transport Shift Supervisor

ATT Logistics (ATT) are currently seeking to engage the services of an experienced transport SHIFT SUPERVISOR to effectively plan and execute customers’ orders and deliveries to meet agreed service and quality standards. This is based in South Brisbane, and is Tuesday to Saturday shift, 4am to 2pm.

THE ROLE

The transport Shift Supervisor must effectively plan and manage the team in order that all contractual obligations are met in a safe, timely manner; within a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. This is largely an autonomous role. 

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE

• Determine and arrange the daily schedule and vehicle requirements according to volume and requirements
• Liaising with customers for load requirements ensuring enough time is allocated for staging and loading
• Promoting a safe, positive work environment and aligning with all management objectives and values
• Ensuring key service objectives are met
• Manage and utlise assets in the most cost-effective manner
• Understand and meet all legislative and regulatory requirements
• Utilise exceptional interpersonal skills to actively collaborate with the wider ATT team and customers
• Have the ability to adapt easily, and think outside the box when there are problems
• Continually improve the service delivery for the customer

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU WILL NEED

• Previous experience within the transport sector at a similar level, preferably refrigerated FMCG
• The ability to solve issues with outside-of-the-box thinking, and ultimately contribute to ATT’s continued expansion
• A results-driven individual who is resilient, adaptable, with a positive mindset, and a high level of integrity (at ATT we expect that you do what is right, and do what you promise)
• The ability to handle various projects simultaneously and independently
• Current Covid vaccinations, criminal history check and a medical will all be required for this role
