We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team in East Maitland, NSW, as a Travel Consultant.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Travel Consultant
- Proficiency in using Sabre Global Distribution System (GDS) is highly preferred, and experience with TRAMADA is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and industry trends
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organisational skills
- A commitment to delivering outstanding travel experiences for clients
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and assistance to clients in planning and booking their travel arrangements
- Utilise Sabre GDS to efficiently search and book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, travel regulations, and product knowledge
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide support throughout the travel planning and booking process
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional service
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Travel Consultant
- Previous experience with Sabre GDS is highly desirable
- Certificate III / IV (or equivalent) qualification in travel and tourism
