As we expand our travel team, we are looking for an In-House Travel Specialist to organise the travel needs of all our healthcare professionals to arrive in their placement destinations right around Australia, from regional and remote to metro cities.
Your day to day:
- Liaising with healthcare professionals to coordinate flights, accommodation, car hire and other travel arrangements as agreed with client/Recruiter
- Booking flights, accommodation, car hire and other travel ensuring locations, times and dates are correct
- Ability to provide options to keep within Recruiter/Client budgets
- Work with Recruiters, Healthcare professionals and Clients (as required) to ensure the right travel needs are met
- Ability to think outside the box to ensure our temps can get to where they need to be in a timely manner, without impacting their health & safety
- Critical thinking skills to deal with challenging situations as they arise and where a fast turn around is required
About You:
- Prior experience in a volume Travel Consultant/Booking role with 2+ years experience (preference is working with Business Travellers)
- Geographic knowledge of domestic routing
- Understanding of Travel Management Booking System - Savvy preferred
- Interpret flight pricing, fare rules and ticketing processes
- Proficient in car rental and ground transportation options
- Understand budgets and provide sound alternative options
- Tracking and usage of credits to reduce company/recruiter spend
- Ability to problem solve on tight deadlines and provide quick turnarounds
