About the role
We are currently seeking a Traveltrain Electrical Maintainer to join our team based in Bowen Hills (Mayne) on an initial fixed-term vacancy until late January 2025.
In this role you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical components in our rolling stock fleet. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of our transportation services.
About you
- Electrical Fitter and Mechanic Licence
- Proven fault-finding experience on power generation systems both DC/AC, and control circuits.
- Strong focus on safety

Hours and Salary
This role requires you to work on a 8 day fortnight (76hrs) Rotational across day shifts (0630-1600hrs), Afternoon Shifts (1330hrs – 2300hrs) and weekends (0630-1600hrs).
Working in this team on the current roster an Electrical Rollingstock Maintainer earns between $100,000 - $120,000 plus superannuation. This includes the allowances and penalty rates for weekend and afternoon/night shifts. Overtime is also available.
The roster will include morning, afternoon and weekend day shifts. You must be available to meet these requirements to be considered for this role.
