Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will require you to contribute to the safe export/import of concentrates, servicing of the Port Operations on routine maintenance, breakdown work, installation and problem diagnosing with an opportunity to develop your technical skills and industry knowledge.The successful applicants will have:

• A current Queensland Electrical Licence;
• Experience with PLC and fault finding skills;
• Aptitude for electrical equipment, troubleshooting and solution seeking skills;
• Current manual drivers licence;
• High level of computer literacy;
• Ability to tolerate physically demanding work, as well as some shift work.
• Instrumentation experience would be considered advantageous.
• Willing to become competent in the operational disciplines of the site.
• Possess or willing to obtain front end loader and forklift tickets.

You will also possess a proactive approach to safety, sound communication and interpersonal skills, as well as high attention to detail. You will have a self-starting attitude and be able to accept individual responsibility within a small work team and the willingness to participate in operations tasks as required.
