The Opportunity

Are you looking for a purposeful and rewarding role where you can use you passion and knowledge in health?

As a Triage nurse you will play a key role in supporting our community with varied health needs, improving the health and lives of Australian public.

Due to the nature of workload patterns and to align our staffing with consumer demand, your roster must be:

  • At least 70% after hours (1800-0600 Monday to Friday), all day Saturday and Sunday and public holidays). - Note this is AEST
  • Fixed rosters on a 2-week rotation.
  • At least one weekend per fortnight is required.
  • Full time and part time permanent positions available.
  • Full technology suite provided (including computer and phone kit).

In addition, you will need the following tools to perform your job:

  • Home Office - private space with closable door
  • Reliable/stable internet connection (speeds of greater than 50/20 download/upload)
  • An active phone line in the same room as your workspace. We will provide an ADSL modem to ensure calls are secure.
  • Be available for 6 full days training in April.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service with strong interpersonal skills displaying empathy and a thoroughly engaging phone manner. You have a focused mindset to deliver exceptional service to the public via the phone. Self-motivated and proactive, you are comfortable working to KPIs and targets.

Additionally, the candidate will bring:

  • Degree in health: you are a Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration (with no limitations)
  • Minimum 3 years' full time Clinical Nursing experience (post qualification experience in Australia)
  • Recent Acute or Primary Health Care experience
  • Intermediate computer skills, including experience using multiple systems, navigating software, and the ability of typing and talking at the same time.
  • Previous telehealth experience in a fast-paced call centre environment.
  • Availability to work weekends and nights.
