We're currently searching for a Registered Nurse with experience in both acute and community settings to join our team as a phone based Clinical Nurse Triage in a fixed term role.
The purpose of the role is to participate in the achievement of the operational goals of the Customer Service Centre through the provision of high level
customer service for external and internal stakeholders and to facilitate client admission or appropriate client outcome.
The Clinical Triage Nurse role will:
Respond to service delivery demands in the most efficient, effective, calm and professional manner.
Utilize your sound nursing skills to assess the situation and provide recommendations based on the customers’ needs.
Work and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
Utilize systems and platforms available to track and record information that can contribute to clinical research and best practice activities.
This role will attending to continence phone admissions
What we need from you?
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse
Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
Police Check (valid within the last 3 years)
Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations in line with current requirements
Willingness to obtain annual flu vaccinations
Sound generalist nursing skills
Highly developed telephone-based Triage clinical assessment, support and advice skills
Genuine interest and passion for community nursing
Highly developed negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Proven ability to work as a team and autonomously
