The Medical Assessment Tribunals consist of over 200 medical specialists appointed by Governor-in-Council. They play an important role in assessing work-related injuries within the Queensland Workers' Compensation Scheme.
As a Tribunal Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
- supporting tribunal hearings across a range of specialty types such as psychiatry, orthopaedic and neurology.
- managing the referral for injured workers from validation through to tribunal hearing and to final outcome.
- working closely with tribunal members to ensure high quality tribunal decisions in line with key performance indicators.
- liaising with workers and associated parties on a regular basis through all communication channels.
- maintaining and supporting Tribunal Services first class worker experience.
- prioritising a self-allocated caseload to ensure targets are met.
- ensuring electronic case notes and other records are recorded accurately and efficiently.
