Truck Driver

Little Green Truck Darwin is currently seeking a highly experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Darwin, NT. This opportunity offers full-time employment with a competitive salary range of $60,000- $70,000.00 per annum, plus super. The selected candidate will be required to commit to a two-year contract, reflecting our commitment to long-term partnerships with our team members.

As the ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience and will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and delivering furniture for removals and deliveries. Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are paramount, as is the ability to perform thorough vehicle checks to ensure safety and efficiency in our operations. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Loading and unloading furniture items safely and efficiently.
• Parking Trucks in residential areas safely for pickups and deliveries
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and removals
• Safety checks of trucks maintenance on daily basis
• Keeping in mind weight distribution of furniture on trucks to avoid damage
• Wearing PPE while loading and unloading
• Following set company and road safety procedures
• Meeting deadlines

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Truck Driver or a similar role.
• Valid appropriate driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying documentation.
• Ability to perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance.
• Physically fit to perform acticitties that require physical strength.
• Time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
