Truck Driver - Solar Energy

With big expansion plans for 2024 and beyond in the pipeline, this leading installer of residential and commercial Solar Energy systems specialises in connecting people and businesses with affordable and environmentally sustainable energy.

As a key member of the logistics and warehousing team, we require a strong and reliable individual with a good attitude, that just gets the job done. You will be a capable multitasker, with the ability to pick and pack stock for deliveries, as well as drive the stock to the required locations.

This role will see you manage and oversee the stock levels of solar panels and inverters, up and down the coast anywhere from the Sunshine Coast in the north, down to as far as Newcastle in the south. 

This is a full time role, working 5 days per week. As a guide, you would expect to be on the road at least 3 days per week, with the remainder of time spent working in the warehouse in Coombabah. Early starts are required on most days. A regular overnight trip to Newcastle will be required every 2 weeks.  

Experience and skills required:

• HR Truck Driving Licence is essential
• Forklift Ticket would be highly regarded
• Drivers licence and excellent driving skills 
• Decent level of physical fitness (will need to be able to move stock of solar panels regularly to and from the truck. They are 20kg each)
