Oreco Group are looking for multiple suitably experienced and qualified MC Drivers to join our team based in Childers on a full-time basis. We also have casual opportunities.

Oreco Group transport anything, anywhere, anytime! Our B-Double trailers range from custom drop decks, open trailers, taunt liners, and tippers. These trailers are designed to hold over 34 tonnes for carting bales, palletised products, raw materials, or other heavy materials.
The Role entails:
- Daily Pre-starts and reporting to the transport team for accurate record keeping.
- Perform frequent lifting, pulling, and pushing.
- Safely secure load using assigned tie down points in accordance with the NTC Load Restraint Guide.
- Check load documentation to determine the nature of load and to check for the presence of dangerous goods.
- Drive the vehicle/vehicle combinations to destinations in accordance with the regulations and company procedures.
- Apply knowledge of commercial driving and skills in maneuvering vehicle at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, inclement weather or in tight loading dock areas.
- Complete relevant paperwork, work diary and entry on required electronic devices.
What we are looking for:
- Availability to travel both intra and interstate to move freight.
- Minimum HC truck license with MC looked favorably.
- Minimum 2 years' experience driving HC/MC class trucks.
- Good driving history, and ability to provide 5 years minimum.
- BFM certificate (Willingness to obtain)
- Forklift license an advantage.
- Good customer relations both internal and external
- Must be able to reverse confidently, safely, and accurately in a B-Double.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Driver/Operator is required to plan routes and delivery schedules where appropriate, ensuring time is used effectively and in consultation with your manager.
- The Driver/Operator must ensure all paperwork is completed in a timely and efficient manner and handed into the designated place on completion of journey.
- The Driver/Operator is able to follow and comply with all Oreco Group policy and procedure.
Health and Safety Requirements
- Drivers must always comply with Oreco Group’s health and safety policies and procedures as well as those set by the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS).
