About the Role: Shorelands is seeking experienced Truck Operators to transport and deliver over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment to customer specified destinations safely and reliably. Our drivers handle singles, doubles, and combinations of road trains, ensuring efficient transportation across various routes. Additionally, you'll be responsible for hooking up and unloading the equipment yourself, ensuring smooth operations throughout the transportation process.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Current MC Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Highly experienced in operating a range of heavy haulage equipment and oversized multi-combination
- White Card certification is required.
- Proficient in transporting over-dimensional and over-mass machinery and equipment/ demountables
- Ability to break up and push together loads and unload independently.
- Forklift license.
- knowledge of road transport legislation, including fatigue management and permit requirements.
- Detailed understanding of heavy haulage road networks and remote locations.
- Ability to work away from home and remote areas for extended periods.
