The Trust Accountant is primarily responsible for managing Trust Accounts in compliance with Property, Stock and Business Agents Act, including the Travel Agents Act. This role will be working with the Thredbo Accounts team to ensure that all financial responsibilities are met within required deadlines. It is a requirement of this role to provide the Finance Manager with sound detailed responses in relation to Trust Account queries and assist with various accounting tasks as required.

If you’re up for an exciting opportunity to:
- Perform daily receipting and bank reconciliations.
- Process weekly disbursements to principals and/or external suppliers.
- Perform regular checks on Trust debtors & Trust creditors.
- Prepare ad hoc tax invoices, when required.
- General Ledger maintenance, accruals & prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets.
- Comply with all company financial policies, procedures and reporting requirements.
- Participate in budget preparation and forecast preparation.
- Adhere to all internal and head office reporting requirements on a timely basis.

- An understanding of double entry accounting.
- Previous accounting experience.
- Strong analytical and investigative ability.
- Ability to adhere strictly to reporting deadlines.
