We operate 27 hospitals and services comprising more than 3,500 hospital beds, including home nursing, disability services and social outreach programs.As a Catholic, not-for-profit group, we invest all profits to the communities we serve by updating and expanding our facilities and technology; expanding existing services and developing and acquiring new services; and providing Social Outreach services to people experiencing disadvantage to improve health and wellbeing.Your role at St John of God Health Care The Trusts & Foundations Manager will play an integral role in the Foundation's ambitious strategy to substantially increase revenue through implementing a best-practice approach to securing significant philanthropic gifts. This will be achieved by supporting the implementation of a Trusts and Foundations program to develop strong, ongoing relationships with organisations and other philanthropic sources, researching, drafting and submitting applications, preparing impact updates and managing a high quality donor experience.The Position(VAED, HMDS, PHISCO), Hospital Casemix Protocol and Private Hospital's Data Bureau.Contributes to the development, and responsible for the implementation of a regional Trusts and Foundations strategy to grow revenue in support of the Foundation's vision, purpose and strategy under the direction of the Director of Philanthropy.Responsible for securing donations at the $10,000+ level.Responsible for identifying and developing opportunities to secure donations from Trusts and Foundations and grant making bodies.Develop processes and tools to match opportunities to projects, support financial management of Trusts and Foundations, including budgeting, expenses and reporting with guidance from the Director of Philanthropy.Draft, submit and successfully manage funding applications, as key liaison with internal stakeholders with approval from the Director of Philanthropy.Produce, submit and manage all communications with funders within agreed timeframes and including regular reports developed in collaboration with internal stakeholders.Responsible for ensuring all deadlines are met (submissions, reporting) and that funds are acquitted in accordance to the grant guidelines, act as the key liaison with relevant internal stakeholders (procurement, finance, foundation services).Ensure that donor experience and stewardship is of the highest quality by developing and implementing donor cultivation and stewardship plans in line with Foundation policy.Builds productive relationships with key hospitals and services and relevant caregivers, representing the Foundation, and understand their needs and objectives.Keep up to date on the priorities of new and existing Trusts and Foundations and philanthropic donors, closely following relevant funding trends.Provide regular reports demonstrating performance against agreed KPIs, financial data and other management information as required including established pipeline of funding application success rates and projected income.Maintain high quality records in the Foundation's CRM.You will have 5 years in professional fundraising, business development, relationship management, stakeholder relations, project management or a partnerships role, proven success in Trusts and Foundations grant submissions and knowledge of the Australian philanthropic landscape with an excellent understanding of the key success factors in Trusts and foundation applications.To succeed you will proven track record of securing funds from charitable trusts/foundations with the ability to write successful proposals at the $10,000+ level.This role requires flexibility to work outside of usual business hours as required on events important to the Foundation, as well as intrastate and interstate travel to support the national philanthropy function.Above all, people will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.We can offer youSalary $115,405 to $128,198 plus 11% SuperannuationPermanent fulltime positionLocated in our Melbourne office with 40% work from home option, we would also consider the position to be based at one of our Victorian hospitalsSalary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as: Novated leasingwork related expensesself-education andadditional superannuationA healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave and well-being programsEmployee discount on St John of God Hospital & Medical Services and Private Health InsuranceEmployee support through our dedicated free Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Access to a range of Lifestyle, Health & Wellbeing rewards and discountsAll applicants are asked to submit a covering letter (of no more than two (2) pages) demonstrating how you meet the above position requirementsSt John of God Health Care embraces diversity and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people with disabilities.
