Your Opportunity
We are seeking dynamic and innovative Educators (teacher or tutor) to achieve outstanding results as a part of our industry leading, renowned organisation! As a key member of the teaching and delivery team, you will contribute to developing and delivering quality learning services to a wide range of clients through:
- Outcome focused vocational education and training (VET) programs;
- Linking with industry, schools, universities, other TAFE and VET providers;
- Maintaining currency with industry practices, workplace delivery and contemporary teaching methodologies and philosophies;
- Working in an environment of change and continuous improvement; and
- Making Great Happen!
We are currently seeking applications for temporary employment until June 2024 in the following areas;
- Carpentry, Construction
- Hospitality, Cookery, Tourism
- TAE40116, International Skills Training (IST) or TVET Training
- Agriculture
TAFE Queensland regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for educators in various qualification delivery areas. This talent pool may be open until 26 January 2024 and is for opportunities as they become available.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, including the LLN unit (TAELLN411), assessment unit (TAEASS502) and a minimum of five (5) year’s experience in TAFE Queensland, including experience in developing courses/educational materials
Note: Proof of qualifications and industry currency/experience to be provided at interview.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Current passport
- Mentoring/coaching experience
