The Mine

This site is a large underground hard rock mine located in Western Australia.

• Lengthy mine life with an exciting exploration outlook
• 3 mines on the mining lease
• 5 min. bus transfer from airport to mine site
• Telstra service on site

FIFO From Perth

For those keen to secure a long-term role on an 8:6 roster FIFO from Perth, the site offers the following benefits;

• FIFO from Perth - travel 100% in company time (via charter)
• 5-hour direct flight to site via charter
• Thursday to Thursday roster (5am from Perth to site, back in Perth at 5:30pm the following Thursday)

The Role

Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor you will enjoy working in a team of experienced underground mining professionals. Your duties will include; -

• Issuing accurate and timely survey memos to relevant stakeholders
• Adhering to statutory and regulatory requirements related to mine surveying activities
• Updating and maintaining mine plans for both internal and external regulatory use.
• Ensure Emergency Plans are up to date and easily accessible
• Setting out underground exploration drilling accurately
• Completing production ring mark-ups and stope surveys in a timely manner

Your Value

• Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Surveying or partial completion thereof.
• Min 1-2 years industry experience
• Experience in Underground or Open Pit mine surveying.
• Current "C" Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
• Computer literacy with the ability to use Deswik (desirable)
