Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd, is Australia’s largest Tin producer. Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin mine now entering an exciting redevelopment period. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery.

About the role
We are looking for a suitably qualified Mine Surveyor to fulfil the survey functions of the underground mine. You will be required to provide spatial control for the execution of engineering design, record all excavations and location of services, provide data for the ongoing operation of the mine and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Core responsibilities
- Maintain systems that ensure data is captured, adjusted, stored and presented in accordance with regulatory minimums and in line with best industry practice.
- Provide guidance to operations to accurately execute engineering designs
- Assist in EOM reporting as required.
- Drone operations
The roster is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off basis, reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have a qualification in Surveying. You will have an excellent attitude with good time management, organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work within a fast paced dynamic environment.
Experience in underground mining, Deswik software and drone pilot experience will be advantageous but not essential.
