How will I help?
This role is part of an Agile Squad within a broader Technology Simplification Program, you will be responsible for the development of digital enablement tools within the program following requirements aligned with the Product Owner, Business Analyst and Technical Lead.
Within the program delivery team, you will work closely with the various key stakeholders and assist in key deliverables as per responsibilities assigned by the Program Director.
Working within an Agile squad structure, you will work with the Product Owner, Business Analyst, Technical Lead, and other Developers to ensure that all development and configuration activity follow a consistent process and are of high quality, delivering a great outcome.
Your key responsibilities may include:
  • Work in an Agile / Scrum software development environment.
  • Work with BA's, Scrum masters and tech leads to refine backlog stories and provide technical input regarding configuration and services.
  • Document detailed designs and estimations.
  • Use your technical skills to develop the solution and provide peer support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the squad and overall release train.
  • Delivery accountability incl. RAID and standards management

What do I need?
  • Exposure to multiple development methodologies with a preference to Agile style of development.
  • Ensure all development aligns with agreed best practice principles e.g. simple and consistent design throughout.
  • Applied understanding and experience of: Design Thinking, Process Design & Lean Methodology and Systems Development Methodologies - Agile, LD, JAD, RAD, Scrum, SDLC.
  • Effective communication, clearly conveying and receiving information that demonstrates your genuine intent to ensure your audience and you have been heard and understood.
  • Strong awareness and understanding of Software development, hardware, networks, software technologies and applications, including development of automation tools.
