One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments are looking to engage a UI/UX designer to work as part of a highly motivated team. The successful UI/UX designer will be working part of multiple agile delivery teams to deliver multiple projects. The successful UI/UX designer will be offered an initial contract until 31 March 2024 with the view to be extended for a further 2 years.
The successful UI/UX designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Develop design solutions for multiple channels, including print and online
- Ability to apply to Project outcomes, digital solutions and the desired user experience
- Provide design guidance and solutions throughout the Project lifecycle to support User needs
- Providing expert advice to ensure high design standards across key projects
The successful UI/UX designer will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience in typesetting for (print) and UI/UX (digital) design experience using Adobe Creative Suite software such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and XD, in a Microsoft environment
- Exceptional visual communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical
information graphically to non-technical audiences. - Experience in designing with / translating visuals into Microsoft products
- Extensive experience in the design of digital services for large organisations
