Northrop Consulting Engineers is an employee owned; multi-discipline consultancy that has been established for over 45 years. We have an open management structure that embodies a diverse, inclusive and flexible workforce for all our employees.
We currently employ over 550 team members across NSW, ACT, QLD, and VIC. We have a strong values-based culture of realising potential which means developing and empowering our people to be leaders and agents of positive change for the community, our people, projects and clients.

The impact you’ll have:
- Contributing towards the development of regenerative strategies for a wide range of clients
- Conducting technical analyses to determine the opportunity for science-based and market leading outcomes for energy, carbon, water, health and nature
- Helping project teams understand and be accountable for meeting targeted benchmarks in support of third-party certifications like Green Star Buildings and Communities, Passive House and Living Building Challenge
- Demonstrating compliance with sustainability frameworks, guidelines and standards
- Researching best practices for building, precinct and infrastructure projects
- Conducting building simulation modelling to test and evolve ideas that improve building performance (e.g. operational energy/carbon, daylight, water balance, lifecycle assessment, thermal comfort etc).
- Contributing positively to building our relationships with project teams and clients
- Participating in industry events that encourage deeper conversations about regenerative design
- Delivering projects across the commercial / industrial / residential / retail / healthcare sectors in a quality, cost effective and efficient manner.
- Education / Qualifications: In your final year of study or a relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Passion: Energised by the opportunity to challenge convention and foster innovation
