We are looking for an Underground Electrician to join our company.
The position:
Working closely with a supportive team you will be responsible for installation, preventative maintenance and statutory testing of surface and underground electrical infrastructure and equipment including but not limited to: switchboards, HV and LV supply cables, ventilation systems, communication systems and pumping systems etc you will perform and supervise a wide range of work including surface infrastructure, underground infrastructure, water supply, communications and high voltage transmission.
FIFO available from various major cities on the East Coast of Australia.
Essential:
- A current NSW Electrical Workers License
- Current National Police Clearance
- Current Driver’s License
- Working at Heights
- Current LVR-CPR
Desirable:
- High Risk Licence with EWP endorsement
- HV switching ticket (highly desirable)
In this position you will require the following skills/knowledge:
- Strong installation, repairs and maintenance capabilities on 1000 volt reticulation systems
- Sound knowledge and abilities in the repair and maintenance of production and development drill rigs
- Sound knowledge of Tele-remote systems
- Knowledge to plan electrical infrastructure and installations including:
- High Voltage installations
- Substations 1Kv installations
- Maintain single line drawings
- Preventive and statutory maintenance
- Batch Plant/ Paste systems
- Ensure all work is completed to site and Hahn Electrical standards
- Maintain maintenance of plant and equipment
