The Role:
With over 110 personnel currently on site, PIMS Group are now seeking motivated Underground Operators with Underground Coal Experience to contribute to the success of this operation for a range of works. Opportunities within the Whynot Bord and Pillar operation are vital to operational success making this a unique chance for seasoned underground coal professional to showcase their expertise and contribute to the common goals of this operation.
About you:
- Operation of Place Change face production equipment (Continuous Miners, Shuttle Cars, Mobile Roof Bolters, Breaker Feeders, LHD’s, Driftrunners)
- Outbye Support including road construction and maintenance, surface to seam supply, installation of strata support, installation and maintenance of Underground ancillary services.
- Relevant experience in underground coal mining, with current competencies for the operation of a variety of underground mining equipment, mobile equipment;
- A demonstrated commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a team are key requirements of the role;
- Commitment to high performance standards and adherence to the site health and safety management system.
- Participating in site continuous improvement initiatives.
- Minimum 12 Months Underground Coal Experience within a production panel;
- Signed Site Transcript with relevant tickets to a Development Panel;
- Demonstrated history of working safely;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Be willing to work as a part of a team.
