Underground Safety Trainers

On behalf of our client - we are seeking applications from suitably experienced Underground Safety Trainers for a position in NSW 

Reporting to the Safety & Training Superintendent, the successful applicants will be required to have a minimum of 4+ years proven background in a Safety/Training role within an underground mining environment.  

Responsibilities will include:

• Working in conjunction with Management to identify training needs and facilitate training HSE programs to meet demands;
• Maintain competency based training and assessment records database;
• Participating in incident investigations and risk assessments;
• Conduct site inductions and safety/toolbox meetings;
• Ensure best practice standards are maintained;

To succeed in this role you be required to have the following:  

• Cert IV in Assessment & Workplace Training;
• Current Senior First Aid certificate;
• Positive and effective communication skills;
• Good organisational and time management skills;
• Solid computer literacy skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft suite packages;
