Underground Service/Utility Locators And Labourers (Multiple Positions)

Pulse Locating is an industry-leading Western Australian-owned and operated company based in Landsdale, Perth, servicing Perth metro and regional areas. We are an ISO9001 and ISO45001 certified company. Our core services are:

• Service Location;
• High-Pressure Gas Supervision and;
• In-house Traffic Management and control.

Due to ongoing growth and new projects, we are looking for experienced and highly skilled Service Locators and Labourers to join our growing team. This position will see you predominately working on various worksites for local and national clients. There is the possibility of occasional night shifts or regional work as required.

We are looking for the below skills and experience in the right candidates:

Essential - Labourer

• White Card and WA C class Drivers Licence;
• Industry experience in labouring or construction
• Good verbal and written communication and report writing skills,
• PC literacy - using operating software on phones, ipads, tablets, and laptops
• Beginner Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• 2 contactable  professional references from direct supervisors, one from last previous job;
• Police checks will be completed as part of pre-employment background screening

Essential - Service Locator

• White Card and WA C class Drivers Licence;
• Knowledge in Pipe/Cable locating, particularly using Ground Penetrating Radar;
• Ordering and interpreting maps and plans, including DBYD;
• Experience in operating vacuum units;
• Strong mechanical and/or electrical understanding;
• Excellent verbal and written communication and report writing skills,
• PC literacy - using operating software on phones, ipads, tablets, and laptops
• Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook);
• 2 contactable  professional references from direct supervisors, one from last previous job;
• Police checks will be completed as part of pre-employment background screening

Desirable:

• MR Drivers Licence or above;
• ATCO High-Pressure Gas Accreditation;
• Traffic Management;
• Valid Provide First Aid and Provide CPR qualification;
• Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services qualification
