What you will be doing:
WorkPac are seeking a qualified and experienced Underground Shotfirer to join our clients team in Cobar & Orange to assist in providing a quality technical Shot firing service to our customers in a safe and environmentally conscious manner. You will be working closely with Blast Operators on site, managing all tasks associated with the loading, tying and firing of blasts, assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members. The successful candidate will work either a 7/7 or 14/14 roster day shifts only.
What You Will Need:
• Current UHL (Explosive licence)
• RTW documents
• 2 Current work place references
• Current Drivers licence
• A current NSW or equivalent Shot firing licence;
• 2-3 years experience working as a Shotfirer within mining, infrastructure or quarrying;

Benefits of working with us is a choice of roster 7/7 or14/14 options. Day shift only, 10k shotfirers allowance and 6k DIDO allowance, potential for 5% bonus end of calendar year and FIFO/DIDO travel, accommodation and all meals are provided.
