About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Underground Shotfirer to join our team in Cobar & Orange.

What you will be doing:
Â
Assist in providing a quality technical Shot firing service to our customer in a safe and environmentally conscious manner.
Working closely with Blast Operators on site, managing all tasks associated with the loading, tying and firing of blasts.
Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members;
Shot firing duties including magazine management, managing the loading, tying and firing of blasts, following drill and blast designs;
Willing to work 7/7 roster or 14/14 roster, 12 hour shifts, Day shift only.

What you need:

Current UHL (Explosive licence)
RTW documents
2 Current work place references
Current Drivers licence
A current NSW or equivalent Shot firing licence;
2-3 yearsâ experience working as a Shotfirer within mining, infrastructure or quarrying;

10k shotfirers allowance and 6k DIDO allowance. Potential for 5% bonus end of calendar year
FIFO/DIDO with travel, accommodation and all meals are provided.
